This product is obtained by separating pea flour (Pisum sativum) into a protein fraction (54% proteins / 7.4% starch on dry extract), presented as a fine powder or pellets, packaged in bags from 15 to 1,000 kg. It is manufactured from washed, hulled, and ground dried peas, with the protein-rich fraction isolated by centrifugation. It is intended solely for use as animal feed and is recognizable as such. This type of product generally falls under heading 2309 of the Combined Nomenclature (preparations of a kind used in animal feeding), subject to the absence of any specific additives or treatments that would assign it to another classification.
